Misunderstood Goth

Black clothes,
Black make-up,
May not look like it but she's been through alot.
Scary and unaproachable.
But sweet on the inside.
She wears the fish nets,
Armwarmers, and make-up.
To cover the scars.
Physical and emotional.
Isolates herself.
Because she's afraid of being abused again.
Just wants a true friend.
A true love.
To cherish and hold her.
To heal and patch the scars.
So she could let the black burst into color.
And be who she really is.
For the people that she needs to love her.
That girl used to be me.
Until I found the people close to me.
Like you Tim Kendzior.

And feel loved for the first time.
